Vinita Nair
The station was founded on July 4, 2004 and was a reporter extensively on various things, including investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair became an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 at ABC News Now. The anchor was responsible for anchoring news live coverage as well as briefings on ABC's digital channels. Nair worked as a co-anchor on World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital networks starting on September 17th, 2008 to February 18, 2011. In both of the shows Nair was initially paired alongside Jeremy Hubbard then later Rob Nelson. Nair disclosed on Thursday 17th February, 2011, the date for her final night broadcasting at World News Now would be the 18th of February, Friday. Her final day with ABC News would be Friday on February 18. The former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her replacement immediately. World News Now, February 18 was a tribute to Nair. Current and former colleagues appeared in the segments. The day she left, she treated the entire crew to breakfast.
